Retained Health & Safety Advice

Competency at our core

Under the Management of Health and Safety Regulations 1999 there is a requirement that, as an employer, you must appoint a competent person or persons to help you meet your health and safety duties – which are a legal requirement.

The competent persons should have the skills, accreditations and experience to ensure they recognise hazards in your business – and help you put the correct controls in place to protect workers, contractors and visitors from harm.

Such competencies are a specific skillset. If you don’t have them all in-house, or you require a level of support for your competent person, then Inspectas can provide the assistance required. We’ll fulfil this role whilst you focus on your core business activities.
